We have so many questions for this talented crew of DC youth. From vocalist with the power to hijack your soul as they sing out stories, to photographers and painters who spin magic through ink, exposures and compositions, we are inspired…
The flyer spells the show name as both adolescent and adoloscent. The artists show up at events dressed to express. Cire, Locke, Taylor, Sasha, Emery, Yakob, Amaya and Kenny collectively shine in attire, artistry and creativity.
The gallery opening crowd brings an energy of love and encouragement, and Brian Bailey does his best to ensure the exhibit and the creators shine brighter than he. It’s quite an experience, so The Great 8 has so many questions…
Until we get the answers we hope you will visit the gallery. It is currently on display at Anacostia Art Center in SE DC and covers multiple areas in the space. When you visit “The Adolescent Perspective”, stop back here and let us know what you think.
